I was afraid to watch this for fear of being totally disappointed. As it turned out, I was only partially disappointed. Very well done production, but "NecroMONicon?" The constant mispronunciation of this infamous book was cringeworthy and nearly unforgivable, especially when it is written out in front of her several times. Didn't they see any of the "Evil Dead" movies or read any Lovecraft? Perhaps I am nitpicking. Aside from that, it was a decent piece on old news. I believe Annabelle was BS from day one. My brother poked the stupid thing in the eyes over 25 years ago in their moldy occult museum. I still say they stole it from "The Twilight Zone" episode "Living Doll," right down to some of the names. People give the Warrens so much flack over the ridiculous story while forgetting Gerald Brittle is just as guilty in concocting this baloney, hence his lawsuit. Maybe the Rod Serling estate should be suing them all. Thanks for posting.
