It's worth joining this Facebook group for updates on this book -
Bryan Norton here! I'm writing a book tentatively called FOR GOD's SAKE GET OUT: THE MAKING OF AMITYVILLE that's due out next year from Bear Manor Media. Always on the look out for memorabilia, rare photos etc from the first 3 movies! I'm hoping to make this the ultimate AMITYVILLE scrapbook complete with, among other things, promotional ads, articles, interviews and fan art. I've interviewed over 80 cast and crew so far and acquired tons of never-before seen pics. Fun stuff!
Here's the latest post:
AMAZING NEWS....I just received a treasure trove of never before published behind the scenes negatives of AMITYVILLE HORROR...INCLUDING the infamous deleted appparition that Brolin throws his ax at and other unused demons! I still can't believe my eyes!

you will DIE when you see what he was supposed to be throwing that AX at!

Just been checking out some of the Facebook Amityville stuff, must have missed this one.

Some great retrospective books and documentaries out in the last few years, surprised it took Amityville so long to get one. Still want to get my hands on The Lost Boys book that came out,I wonder if the Amityville sequels are in mentioned in that documentary 'In Search of Darkness'.
