The Nightmare Continues

Post by montague » Thu Aug 17, 2006 12:16 pm

I noticed on some of the forums here about the debate over if the John G Jones II & III and off course IV books where or where not ment to be sold as Non Fiction but what about the book Amityville - The Nightmare Continues by Robin Karl ?

I remember reading this in one sitting ( well almost ) and loving it. A friend of mine had brought me back a copy from the states as it had yet to be got in Europe plus there had very little on the Amityville front in years. I haven't read it in years so might again for a cheap scare but does anyone know who this dude was and how he was connected to the whole thing.

I have always thought that this book would of made a good movie or better yet 2 part mini series but you would have to switch off the mind and erase the events of all the other movies from II on..

That book is the only one I have not read. I keep looking in the used book stores here for a copy.

I bought a copy off of E-bay and thank heavens I only paid $4.25 for it! I read the entire thing in one sitting and was completely bored out of my mind the entire time. I still keep wondering where she conjured up such a story.

what is the premise of the story?
MerchBoi...resident Gay Mascot for Amityville Horror Truth.

"The last chance,
The last dance,
One moment in time.
One song,
Doesn't last that long.
Life turns on a dime.
The wheels of fortune seem to pass you by.
Tomorrow there's a dawn again.
A dream can still be born again.
Take a chance,
While there still is time.
Because life turns on a dime."

it's very like the horror returns... very cool in fact and is suppose to be based on a diary found by a police man who then looks into the facts of the case... claims to be 'The 2nd Haunting' . it's not a bad read and yes I read it one sitting but is so full of fiction claiming to be eh fact... like the house is suppose to be lying empty in the 80's , a kid vanishes in the basement etc....
