I am new to the board as well and though that comment was over the top, I have to admit my first thoughts were, "ewwww creepy stalker guy!"

It is one thing to research a place and its history but ..well... I guess its just me but I find stalking a house a little over the top :fp:

Ok I might be tempted to have a quick drive by of the place and snap a photo from my car while doing so... but to get out of the car and take photos of the house and the guy living there? Nope that crosses the Miss Manner's line.

I guess if I were that guy I would have mooned you and said, "Don't you know, ghost only come out during a full moon!"

In America people have posed for pictures in front of either more innocent or even more embarrassing subject matter. 112/108 is no big deal. :fp:

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Brian Wilson was impressed by the tall, sporty Swiss guy who was taking pictures of his house. He was doubtless casting admiring glances at The Architect from behind the curtains in the sunroom.

Refresh my memory. Do you mean the photo I had as my facebook profile pic earlier in the year? That was a photo from a friend's account that I adopted as my own (feeling I somewhat resembled "Bob's Big Boy"). :D

Or did I post something here that I'm forgetting? My memory is crap...

Welcome onboard Praline.

That is a subject we talked about maaany times but I see your point.

I have also been visiting houses used for movies such as the one used in the "Nightmare on Elm Street" near Hollywood, the one used in "The people under the stairs" or the one used for the first "Halloween" movie and so on.. I never stepped onto the property but stayed on the sidewalk, which is fine I believe.

Have a nice day (my trade mark ;) )

Yes, Dan. That one and so many other people with Mcd's Clown Ronald and The BK King.... I do remember yours, but thought it was a Carl's....
the point being many people pose in front of many things...that's the point of poses and pictures.

Talking about being nice, why don't you organize a trip to Amityville soon ? It would be a nice ride from Michigan.

Then you could use your powers to get some nice shots of the 108, get friendly with the new owners ;)
