I went and threw the sledgehammer up. I'm basically out of stuff to sell, except for one book, maybe the big candle, and an antique Tree stand. All the other stuff found permanent spots in my home

I'm selling prints through my site as well. Would love to get some nightshots, but the time it takes to do that isn't really a safe bet with the neighbors

I hope you sell it! I won't be able to buy it myself this time, because I've got some pretty big bills to pay off.

One thing I noticed though Amityphotos, is that when I did a regular search for Amityville (just typing it in the search bar), it doesn't show up on the first page or even the third. So I'm not sure how many pages in it is, but it might be a good idea for you to find a way to get it advertised on page one and even page one AND two, as I've noticed some people will do a listing on two pages, because people don't often check too many pages in when they do a search, so you want to make sure it's being seen. :)

Thanks for the tip Brooke. I'll look into that

If it doesn't sell, it isn't a big deal. I'm not sure if I really want it to go. I have a ton of stuff to put on ebay (nonamity- related), but I've been too lazy

LOL how funny. I got into the ball auction even though it was from the 2010 sale. I thought they were flies not bee's
Can someone tell me if they were flies or bee's on the ball?

The 300.00+ bids on them amazed me.

Trust me, it amazed me as well- since I was selling them. They are bees, even though they look a bit like flies. There is a random ball with Dragonflies which is still in the bowl. The person who won the bid, later told me he put a max bid of $500.

They are just some type of resin/hard plastic. Probably from a home decor shop.

The sledgehammer didn't sell, but had many questions about it, probably could have if I wanted to send something of that size overseas, but not worth the hassle

I'm sorry it didn't sell but then again, you get to keep it! Personally I think that's better for you.:) And you can always try again if you feel you want to part with it someday.

It probably will, just make sure you really advertise it well in it's title, like, "Amityville Horror Lutz son", something like that.

Frame it and laminate it.

Here is an interesting response from someone who had an interaction with Ronnie Sr at the dealership. Look for post #6 in the middle of the page.
http://www.tsxclub.com/forums/dealershi ... tmare.html

The poster got whose who was in the DeFeo family a little mixed up (He had Sr. owning it and Jr as the service manager), but he was not a follower of this case.

Wow! That is a great link you posted there vic!
The guy writes: 'shhhhh, witness protection programme.'
I'm assuming he's just kidding, but whoa, this pretty much
sums up what we already knew about Butchie Face's
personality.

From what the poster says, Sr appeared polite to him but
still ripped him off for repairs anyway which is pretty sick.
It is better to return a borrowed pot with a little something you last cooked in it.

On eBay at the moment someone is selling: "Ronald Defeo, JR" which I thought was odd.... It seems to be a bit of a rip-off Priced:US $49.32 which is Approximately £31.32

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ronald-Defeo- ... 589a198386

Description
Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Ronald Joseph Butch DeFeo, Jr. (born September 26, 1951) is an American murderer. He was tried and convicted for the 1974 killings of his father, mother, two brothers and two sisters. The case is notable for being the real life inspiration behind the book and film versions of The Amityville Horror. At around 6:30 PM on Wednesday, November 13, 1974, 23-year-old Ronald DeFeo, Jr. burst into Henrys Bar in Amityville, Long Island, New York and declared: You got to help me I think my mother and father are shot DeFeo and a small group of people went to 112 Ocean Avenue, which was located not far from the bar, and found that DeFeos parents were indeed dead. One of the group, Joe Yeswit, made an emergency call to the Suffolk County Police, who searched the house and found that six members of the same family were dead in their beds. *Author: Eglantine, Cornelia Cecilia *Binding Type: Paperback *Number of Pages: 60 *Publication Date: 2011/12/31 *Language: English *Dimensions: 9.02 x 5.98 x 0.14 inches

I searched Amityville on Amazon, to see if I saw anything newer on there.

Here is a book called "The Devil I Know" by Jackie Barrett, I'd never even heard of it.
http://www.amazon.com/The-Devil-Know-Ha ... aMITYVILLE

Here is something on Amazon titled "The Real Story"... anyone know what this is exactly? Or what it contains?
http://www.amazon.com/The-Amityville-Ho ... aMITYVILLE

A digital book titled "Amityville Horrible" lol looks like they used the remake house for the cover.
http://www.amazon.com/Amityville-Horrib ... aMITYVILLE

Amityville 3D on DVD... but $87.21? Really? Even if it's the two disct UK special edition, it's not worth that price!
http://www.amazon.com/Amityville-3-D/dp ... aMITYVILLE

Amityville II foreign DVD, I've seen the cover for this maybe once or twice, so I wasn't sure if anyone had seen this before.
http://www.amazon.com/amityville-posses ... aMITYVILLE

Amityville 3D 2003 DVD Import, I'd never seen this cover before. It looks like the original 3D cover, without the blu tint and demon hand.
http://www.amazon.com/amityville-3d-dvd ... aMITYVILLE

The Amityville Curse... I've never seen this cover before, either.
http://www.amazon.com/Amityville-Curse- ... aMITYVILLE
