Heres what I came up with but a carved out jack-o-lantern.

All lit up...

I still have the guts so tomorrow I may make him look like he's puking. If I do that for sure, I'll post the pics. I get a crap load of trick or treaters here so I may do that.

Hey--I have the same stove you do! GREAT JOB with the re-creation.

Thank you! I've been wondering the same thing and have been thinking about it. Not sure if the boys were into that kind of thing and Dawn into her own thing as a young adult. Allison being that she had other hobbies as well, I lean more toward her doing this especially at her age at the time.

For some reason I think Allison painted it. It looks like a girl did it. And I guess Dawn was already too old. But we'll never know. But looking at this pumpkin, knowing that the painter, whoever it was, was no longer alive anymore when that picture was taken, makes me very sad and also angry because it shows once again that innocent people, especially the youngest 3 children, died there in that November night. I feel the same when I try to look closer to the painted pictures on the door of the boys bedroom.

I thought it might have been one of those kind that you use the stencils to paint.
BionicRose90 wrote:I wonder what's drawn on that other pumpkin, the one that's mostly cut off in the picture? To me it kinda looks like a guy with a curly mustache laughing. Is it even a pumpkin? I can't tell!
