The Lutz house

Since I'm working on recreating the house from the Lutz time period I've been trying to find images from how they had the interior of the house and what the furniture they kept by comparing photos.

Some things they kept -
the foyer clock / radiator covers
First floor landing curtains
Dawn's bedroom set (bed, drawers, bedside table) - these were in Missys room
Dining room table/chairs

I'm also tracking down some objects -

The tv room (Lutz) -

- As well as Dawns furniture Missy Lutz's room kept the radiator cover and exact same curtains and blinds.

Here's another find, this is from Allision DeFeo's room.

Very similar headboard can be found here - http://www.stylebeatblog.com/home-blog/ ... ssic-finds

From Ronnie DeFeo's room the lamp,it is actually a 'Galliano Liquore' mascot (the lamp has the name written below). The figure part is easy to find on ebay.

Also found the monkey doll in the photo,it's Curious George I think

I think the drawers set was from Sears, found very similar design ones, not had much luck with the lamp or artwork in that pic - the search terms are too general.

Working on Missy's room currently, think I found the light fixture (or very very similar) and will need to update my model. Also noticed the 'Baby Alive' toy next to the bed and Christmas items and the ladybug toy (made by 'animal fair' I think.

Still hunting down some objects and got some new finds.
The DeFeo/Lutz Dining room table set, took a while to find it but it appears to be exact match!

The chairs are from a company called 'Thomasville Furniture' and I think the DeFeos owned a few things from this company. I was also trying to find the Defeo piano,my guess is it was a Steinway but cant confirm this yet.

Those look very identical to the defeo's furniture. I think someone found a possible match for the squirrel lamppost outside of the property in another thread too. Good finds :)

Also, I wonder why it appears as if Dawn's radiator seen in the mirror and to the side of the bed doesn't have a radiator cover like most of the other rooms. The chair in her bedroom also looks like an identical style to those in the kitchen.

The radiator covers were mixed colors, dining room ones were metal and I noticed some are painted the same as the basement stair woodwork... red paint again.

I haven't seen any shots of the Defeo piano in the Lutz house, shots of the livingroom seem a bit more rare.

Here is a find from the Defeo livingroom, the statue design is by Auguste Moreau (no idea whats with the carpeted plug box in the 1st pic,70s thing i guess lol).

Sorry for double posting but got some more to add. The Defeo foyer furniture this time, got a good few finds-

- the wallclock that the Lutz's kept was actually the door chime,it was a popular 'Nutone Jefferson K46' apparently.

-the small seat was part of a set,I think the chairs were in the sunroom but they were slightly different design. Couldn't find name of maker on it but fairly sure it's same set.

- posted in other topic but also the pumpkin on the hall table which was a 1966 RELPO Samson Import HALLOWEEN PUMPKIN PLANTER.

Thanks. A lot of the items have been hard to find, especially with so few photos from the Lutz house, the Defeo's had more expensive furniture that is still around also compared to the Lutz family. I've tried hunting a lot of the paintings down but not had much luck on that one.

Here's a small thing I found. The jigsaw puzzle on the bed is actually a different one from the one on the floor (which was found by someone on these forums).Top image is the jigsaw on the bed, below is the one on the floor.

Another find. The photo below is from the night of the tv investigation with the Warrens and is the dining room,I was able to find the wall plates in the background.
The plates are 'Vintage Porsgrund Norway 1968 Limited Edition Julien Church Christmas Plates' (found on etsy).

Defeo kitchen appliance, found this one (different colour),it's a kitchen aid dishwasher - I think the appliance in the back porch/hall might be a portable kitchen aid but cant be sure if it's that or an portable AC.

The clown picture is called Allen Noonan,Wood-Clowns and I think the Defeo's had something similar or another of his works in the basement but couldn't track that exact one down, its cut/painted wood with a raised effect.

I'm using the images of items I've found to build 3D models as closely as possible for an Amityville game.

Geil! (That means awesome in German)
Sounds fascinating and inventive. Good luck and lots of fun with that. Let me know how it goes when you're done.

REALLY impressed w/ the finds you've made, Crash. Methinks your eye for detail ought to draw the attention of an interior design/production design outfit...
