Below is an image that you can see in the famous "Newsday" photo. Just over the "High Hopes" sign, you can see what appears to be a demonic-looking face peering out from behind a window pane. Most people pick it up right away (and say that it looks kinda like Linda Blair from the Exorcist). Assuming most people don't see it right away, I created an image which helps you to see it more clearly. I've added a dramatic comparison underneath the original photo to give it a creepy perspective in case you're having a hard time seeing a face.
By the way, I had to place this huge, disgusting, ugly-ass watermark in the middle of the picture because the last 3 times I altered Amityville pictures, someone went and posted them all over the internet having mis-labeled them and it caused all sorts of confusion. LOL, so I apologize ahead of time
