I don't see anything... but I do like my version of the pic better, colour makes all the difference but still... no faces.

I like the photoshop color pic. I do see something, in the pics. I had to look real hard though.

I can't believe no one has seen what I did. I'm not very good with computers so I can't blow up the image and all that like others have. However, if you look at the big tree on the left down close to the bushes you will see a clear face. It is very creepy looking. Once you see it, you'll just keep staring at it like I did. I was looking right at who ever took the picture. My boyfriend was shocked when I showed him. Take another look.

I see a face clearly outside of the house

Postby moosie » Fri Aug 04, 2006 3:39 pm

If you look closely at the Newsday photo of the house you will see a face by a tree. Look to the left at the big tree and fo down to almost where the hedges are and you will see the face. You can see a real face, don't think it's human though, with eyes, nose, and mouth. I can't believe no one else has seen this, it is sooo clear. People keep focusing on just the house instead of what is around it. I don't know to much about computers, so I don't know how to transfer the picture so I can mark it and show you exactly where it is at although you should be able to find it anyway.

I have marked the area as you can see. In the square is the face. If you zoom in too much it get blurry and you can't see it as clearly.

I'm with you.......I don't see anything either.

Then again I think if someone really wants to see something any odd shape can be construed as such.

When I saw George, he went over this picture for an hour. But, he also had his own pics from inside the house while he lived there and there was a lot of things in those photos as well. He had these pics up on a movie screen blown up and it was very neat to see. Look at the window on the right with the shutters. There are three there. He said that if you take the pic down layer by layer there is tons of stuff. Also, there is a lot up the the tree branches.

Yeah, I've seen alot of the other faces too in this pic. I just want to know if anyone else is seeing the same thing I am in this one. The face by the tree was the first thing I saw.

It looks to me like a man pushing a baby on a swing.

Btw, I've been itchy in this thread, mostly on the cheeks and ears. It disappeared when I went out of the thread, and recurred when I came back in to post my thoughts. No, I'm not having you on, I'm serious.
I used Sabrina's diary as my kitty litter. She still doesn't know.

However, hyper-religiosity with overabundance of religious statues and icons in a home may be indicative of spiritual uneasiness and fear on part of the family over perception of evil presence. Why did they feel such a need for spiritual protection that they had so many statues around?

If I recall correctly, the DeFeos didn't add most of the yard's religious statues until a few weeks before the murders; I wonder if this was about the same time Mr. DeFeo Sr. began offering religious medals to his coworkers and such ... there has been speculation over Sr.'s seeking help of a spiritual nature, going as far to claim he had a devil on his back [paraphrased], but many wonder whether he meant an evil presence, or if he was just referring to Ronnie spiraling out of control (for example when Ronnie Jr. staged the 'robbery' of the car dealership).

If you look through the branches you can make out alot of faces. I really don't see anything paranormal about this picture and i've looked at it for quite sometime trying to find things but i think people are looking for things that aren't really there just to say "Oh, look it's a face!". I know it's all in fun but i really don't see anything wrong with this picture. I wish it was in color though.

Really though, i live in a wooded area. If i take a picture outside of my house, turn it to black and white and upload it i'll see a bunch of faces near my house too.

I see the face your referring too btw. I wish i could find something really freaked out about the picture but there's nothing.

Exactly, i see all the apparations and actually found other faces but i still don't buy any of them as being actual spirits although you never know.

Hi I'm new to the site, but I've been a big follower behind the Amityville Story since I was 8 years old. I joined just so I could quick point out something that (Forgive me if I'm wrong) Nobody else really pointed out.

I personally couldn't see those faces untill just now that they've been marked and pointed out, But I did happen to notice a face on the second floor balcony window on the right side. If you look at it closely (Or zoom in) on the bottom right part of the window, I was able to make out a pigs face quite clearly. Especially the eyes, the snout, and it's right ear.

Weither it's a strange reflection or not, It's still pretty creepy to see. Just thought I'd point that out in case anybody missed it
