Daria wrote:Just wondering, as there is a lot more info. out there I would like to read, but have been rather hesitant as I do NOT want to see them. (I read a thread, probably about TNC, where someone opened a PDF to read it and surprise!, it included the very graphic images. I've been wary about internet info. on the Defeos ever since.)
TNC not only provided a downloadable PDF that contained graphic DeFeo crime scene photos, but at one point?they also displayed graphic DeFeo crime scene photos that were just ONE click away from the main page.

This of course would be the same TNC that is now being promoted by an administrator over at TNE?

?Also visit the New Criminologist website, and pop Steve an email on the great job he is doing, and has done.?

?yeah?I?ll make sure to ?pop? Steve an e-mail on the great job that he has done! Maybe something like this?

?Hey Steve?thanks for making pictures of slaughtered children available to the masses!?

It?s rather convenient how on TNC the DeFeo DVD is no longer available (the one that they recently marketed that contained the graphic images of slaughtered DeFeo children)?yet?the John Gacy ?Summerdale Dig? is still for sale?

?As twenty-nine bodies of young men and boys, all brutally raped, tortured and eventually slain by the portly building contractor, were unearthed from beneath the concrete floor of his garage, a barbecue pit in his back garden, and the crawl-space beneath his ranch-style home in Norwood Park, Des Plaines, the media watched in horror.?

?Disc includes the unedited police video of what has been dubbed ?The Summerdale Dig? - which is original footage shot by investigators in late December 1978, of the excavation and recovery of the bodies of the victims of the Chicago-based sado-sexual serial killer, John Wayne Gacy.?

Also available is the Jeffrey Dahmer DVD?

?In July 1991, Milwaukee police investigators were called by fellow officers to an apartment in the City to investigate a report of ?A head in a refrigerator?. It was just the beginning. The home of Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer was littered with dismembered body parts and human offal. The ?Milwaukee Cannibal? had murdered a total of 17 young men.?

?Graphic scenes of crime photographs - viewer discretion is advised.?

What REALLY boggles my mind is that Ian Heffron, a man who SWORE he would do EVERYTHING in his power to get the graphic DeFeo crime scene photos off the net?is now a CORE MEMBER of TNC?

?really nice, eh?

If you don't want to look at crime scene photos or any other things you find offensive on the internet then don't seek them out or look at them. If you don't like Websites like TNC then don't frequent them. Anything else sounds to much like Censorship and if your worried about children accessing such images then Parents should be responsible for monitoring their children's on line activities. There are MUCH worse images available all over the internet from murder to suicide pictures to cannalbalism to hard core porn freely available then what is on TNC...As for Mr Ian Heffron maybe he came to the realisation that getting some images removed from the net is all but impossible and switched his efforts elsewhere I mean I happened to locate the infamous " Ghost Boy " Pic on the internet just last night after a 2 minute Google search and its suppossed to be a big " No No "..... seems simple enough :?

I pointed out to a user here, who asked where the graphic DeFeo images could be found, that they were available on TNC to subscribers only and not on 'public' view. I also advised this person they were not recommended viewing for anyone without a very strong stomach.

As LL points out, there are far worse images on the 'net than these; graphic photos of war dead, for example, are commonplace.

I also find it distasteful that the owners of the copyright of the DeFeo crime scene images permitted them to be distributed willy-nilly but if they took no action or gave their permission there is little to be done about it. It is certainly not unlawful to show such images and all 'crime orientated' websites, by their very nature, should be viewed with caution.

The current subscription rate for full access to the member section of TNC is $29.99 per annum.

Ric Ocsuna's book has a lot of pics in it of the Defeo bodies. At George's seminars he also used an autopsy photo to prove a very excellent point. Also, this is a good web site with a lot of info about the murders!

By just reading this topic, I became ill. I can not believe that anyone would allow such photos to be for the public veiw. Now, I am only 15, but I still can not fathom(sp) even having a glimpse at these photos.

I came to this site for homeschool and I hope I can find alot on here. But I'll take Fox word for it. I am NOT looking at, or even coming close, to those photos.
