Oh well, in fact someone else has already found this look alike house previously.

I found an old topic of 2007 which talks about this house, with better pictures : http://www.amityvillefaq.com/truthboard/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4681.

The address of this look alike house is : 34 Bennett Place in Amityville, NY.

I will try to find other look alike houses in Amityville, and I will post here ;)

There's a house I usually see on the passing when I am riding the bus to college which reminds me of the front side of the amityville house, only the bricks are beige. I should get a snap of it on my camera and upload it to the forum sometime :)

Then I like this one for some reason it has the movie house chimney with two evil eyes lol...looks quite different now since someone bought it and fixed it up.

There are quite a few houses in Amityville with the "eye" windows. Here's another picture of the house on Bennett Place that I took this past December.

I'll take some more pictures and post them when I have a chance.

Reminds me of a mix between the original movie house and the real house... I actually like the way this house looks more than the real house... maybe because it still has the "eye windows". lol

I love quarter-moon windows. How can you see these and NOT think Amityville? :D

Oh I always do think of Amityville when seeing those windows... there's a building in the show "South Park" that's shown in a majority of the episodes, and it has those windows, and I think "Amityville!" lol

Here's a few more look alikes in my area that I've been meaning to take:

This is the all-brick house that I pass every now and then when I take the back roads to stop at Quick Chek before work. I've never seen an all brick version and thought it looked unique.

Image

Image

Here's a house I posted earlier in the year after a blizzard... this is the "summer pic" of the house. It's a block down from the all-brick house.

Image

Here's another house on my way to work, I couldn't get a good shot because the owner was outside getting into his car and I took a quick shot when he wasn't looking lol the other side of the house also has the windows, but no chimney or sun porch. There's trees in the way, so I can't get any pics of that side.

Image

There's another house I pass everyday which is in an earlier post I made with tiny attic windows, and one more house near my job that looks a lot like the movie house, except with brown siding, white shutters, and a regular roof. It could definately be used as a remake house. So basically I'm surrounded by Amityville look alike houses everywhere I go in my town when I go to work and come home lol

Good look alikes, antny! I found another look alike a couple of blocks away from 108 earlier today. I didn't have a chance to get a picture of it, but I'll try later this week. I had never noticed it before.

Here's the look alike I mentioned in my previous post. It was really sunny out earlier today, and I couldn't get as good of a picture as I wanted. That's not to mention the house has some crazy landscaping in front of it. I'll go back by the house later on and try to get a better picture. I tried to get the "eye" window and the Ocean Avenue sign in the same frame in the second picture.

It's a one story version of 108!
