Amityville 3D Poster/Cover

Post by antny000 » Tue Mar 08, 2011 11:30 am

I've never seen this one... and it's horrible... but I thought I'd share it anyway, because it's the first time I've come across this one.

The thing that gets me is the house they chose for the cover... why? lol

It looks nothing like the Amityville house... it looks like a normal house actually. Nothing eerie, creepy, or significant about it. I guess that's why it's not the normal DVD cover for the movie lol

Quite funny :P

According to the bottom of the poster, this is the Polish poster for the movie.

I guess that kind of house is more "attractive" for Polish people so the marketing team did chose it.

This poster looks like it could belong to
a pirated copy of the movie.

Interesting find though:)

Wow, now that's something

How can you take this movie seriously after seeing that poster ?

I was in Thailand last December, I should have asked for the dvd of the 1979 movie to see its look..

That's actually the novelization of the movie and not a poster.

All football is is a bunch of over-pumped jocks on steroids who say they're straight while they smack each other's behinds and chase each other around on a field so they can tackle another guy to play with that guy's ball.

Well I own the UK Special Edition, which includes the 3D version, and on there it's the red/blue glasses.

I know back in the 80's when 3D movies were hot, they had some other system. I don't think it's like the one they use today, but I don't think it was the red/blue in the theatre... I could be wrong though.
