I used to think that the fake windows were real windows.
I think that was the general idea though, to give people the illusion that they were real 8-)
It is better to return a borrowed pot with a little something you last cooked in it.

I thought the fake window was real. I thought they cut away that section of the wall and put in a window between the two eye windows.

I thought the house originally had it and an earlier owner removed it!

It was added in the 80's or early 90's. The photos of the houses were from this era.

Are you sure about that? I always thought it was a fake window. And I guess I have read somewhere that the window was a fake.

From the pictures I saw, including these, it look like you could see through the window in between the eye windows.

Weren't the "windows" actually a framed mirror with a wooden grid within it?

Yes, they installed it from the exterior. They assumed tourists wouldn't think and realize a chimney cuts off the window's view.

The window was fake it was a mirror with fake panes attached to it and then hung on the house. Would the fake window blow in the wind or a strong storm makeing it look even more fake????

The fake window was in the early 80's. By the late 80's, the quarter moon windows were gone.

All football is is a bunch of over-pumped jocks on steroids who say they're straight while they smack each other's behinds and chase each other around on a field so they can tackle another guy to play with that guy's ball.

You are right Kevin. They removed the quarter moon windows circa. 1987. The "fake window" pictures must be from the early 80s.

Yeah... you normally don't put windows through chimneys... makes for a smokey house... Or does it just make smoked glass? hmmmm...
