I cannot recall the name, but someone posted this on a website
a while back . They claimed that there was a figure in the window.

I just do not recall who it was.

I've already seen this pic before. I agree, there could be someone standing at the window. But maybe it's just my imagination. ;) :)

Looks like a young lady with long hair and a massive winter hat
Leaning out of the window. If it is indeed spirit it may very well
Be Dawn, Allison or a previous owner/visitor.

If not spirit it could just be the exposure/age of photograph,
Reflection from a house across the street or a double exposure.

Sometimes the human mind creates an impression of an object
As a ghost because it cannot come up with a better answer to explain
The unknown.

It loooks like someone happend to take a picture and caught Mrs. Cromarty opening the window. This picture might have been altered or just taken from a distance causing the photo to appear as a ghost figure. The figure to me looks like a real live person who happends to look like Mrs. Cromarty.

I think it's one of those photographs where something as simple as an opened window can from a certain angle look like something that really is not there.

When I first viewed this photograph I honestly did not see anything ... until it was suggested there was a dark-haired young woman (possibly Dawn DeFeo). Then I started to see what might be just that.

However, the suggestion of it did not last long as I began to see what it most likely could be - an open window at an angle.

If this was another house without a history of gruesome murders together with claims of supernatural phenomenon, then this would be just another photograph.

People can see whatever and believe whatever they believe to see. It doesn't make it right or wrong. It doesn't mean something didn't happen there. What I see is different from the next person.

Lol! We have class photos in other threads and we can't figure out which one is Dawn...

It does look like someone or something standing in the window but the mind can play tricks on you when your looking for it

There is something in front of the window I would say, is it a Photoshop effect? A person? The Boogie man? We'll never know!

As with most purported ghost pictures, if most likely nothing. Sort of like looking up at the clouds and seeing faces. Does that mean the clouds are giant gods staring down at us?, probably not.

There could be anything in the window; it's a grainy photo.

Its probably nothing, but at least I can see a 'figure' in this one, unlike most of the others that are posted- I'll go with the 'cloud' theory or matrixing

Try as I might, all I'm seeing are the wooden fixtures of the eye window. The bizarre way it opens makes part of them fade a bit, so it kind of looks like an arm maybe, but I'm pretty sure it's just those wooden slats or whatever they are.
