Dawn DeFeo- the rock band

Post by OntarioGuy1988 » Sat Feb 27, 2016 4:22 pm

there is an actual rock group out there called Dawn DeFeo. Anyone else find it super creepy/odd/macabre they would use her name for their band?

Unless it's some coincidence and it's another Dawn DeFeo, but I seem to doubt that.

Sadly, most music these days is hit and miss. A lot of it is utter garbage

The best music came out of the 1950s-70s

Yes, their music is very bad. And I agree, it's a shame they used the name of that poor girl. People should show more respect to the victims. :-(

The Brian Jonestown Massacre is another example of a band whose name is inspired by a tragedy.

True, they do seem to have gathered a bit of a cult following (no pun intended). I honestly couldn't imagine what those people went through, it must have been horrible.
