Great point about the titles, especially since High Hopes is officially titled...

High Hopes - The Amityville Murders

...leave it to Osuna to snatch the second half...and then slap a trademark on it!

Then again, we shouldn't be surprised...he's the same guy who registered...

Why is ronnie in that picture with his family?

the only hope he had shattered was the fact he couldnt get his hands on families insurance money!

Sorry had to say it

That is pretty cool how they merged all the portraits into one family photo though I have to admit.
"It happened so quick. I mean, it was boom, boom, boom. From the first killing to the last, it never took any longer than seven seconds,
it would be alot, that would have been alot. Seven seconds." - Ronald J. DeFeo Jr.

Hello ZZ,

It's ironic that you ask.

Earlier today, my office received an e-mail in regard to the above-mentioned documentary...

Mr. Chiles,

Thank you, Sir , for this information. The check is in the mail...

Interesting to find out that Dawn DeFeo was in fact Dawn DeFeo Jr.

ZZ,

It's also interesting to see Gerard Sullivan listed as Gerard Sullian...and in his late-twenties.

And if in fact this "documentary" is based on the true story of what happened in 1974...why would there be a need to cast Geraldine Gates? She didn't even enter the picture until 1985.

What's distrurbing is how the role of Ronnie is described as the most "fun"...especially when this line precedes a line about how viewers will get to see Ronnie execute his family with a Marlin rifle.

Outrageous!

Jackie Chiles

Near the top a portion of the script can be seen, used as background... and as Gerri complained to me 3 years ago - she IS portrayed as a cussing chain-smoking moody old sow!

Thanks for the find! Anyone in the L.A. area please grab us a script ;)
We're fun-filled independent film-makers
The memories of this shoot, however, will last a lifetime.
we do hope to take the finished project to some festivals where we hope to win awards for best independent documentary.
The money isn't great, or, frankly, even good, but you are getting an opportunity to participate in a documentary that will likely be a success.
 This all coming from a guy who printed off a mere 50 copies of the original book...

Did they put makeup on that forehead growth???

Does a little alien baby monster emerge from it during the film???

If only the letterboxing would hide more of his face...
