Has anyone here made or considered making a Punch! model of the house ? Just for the fun of it, I mean. I would if I could get the 3D model creator to print correctly on my machine. It would be a cool way to look "inside" the house !

I've made a model out of cardboard. I have the real house and the original movie house.

These floor plans also appear in this thread.

http://www.amityvillefaq.com/truthboard ... ?f=1&t=123

It appears that they were based on crime scene photos and as such are not official blueprints or replications.

One of the implications noted in that thread is the theory that the space of the "red room" was there all along and was never an addition to the basement.

I'm not sure if you meant this as humour.

At any rate there is reason to believe that any business of a well was one of Anson's fictions. Anson tells the story of a psychic girlfriend of one of George's employees visiting the house and figuring out, amongst other things, that he should look for a well through which "they" can come and go. It was supposedly under the front stoop. I imagine that it again would be something that is not on the blueprints.

Pretty scary stuff, except that George had stated in interviews that he had never talked about strange happenings in the house with people at work.

Yes it was humor. What is scary is that some people would actually believe it. :fp:

I remember seeing this video years ago and finding it hard to sleep afterwards. It's been so beautifully animated and reconstructed from the crime scene photographs to the point where you feel you are actually there in the house at the crime scene.
It is better to return a borrowed pot with a little something you last cooked in it.
