https://bloody-disgusting.com/books/354 ... rror-book/Last year, Bryn Curt James Hammond’s The Complete History of The Howling took an in-depth look at The Howling franchise, and the author’s next project has been announced.
Hammond tweeted this week, “Excited to announce my follow-up book to The Complete History of The Howling will be The Complete History of Amityville Horror.”
The book promises to cover “the extraordinary and complete history of The Amityville Horror,” from the real murders straight through the entirety of the film franchise.
Check out the cover art below and expect more soon.

Re: The Complete History of Amityville Horror BOOK
Don't get me wrong, I'll get this book and love it but why can't publishers and/or authors have a hook up with a great graphic designer? That front cover is more horrifying than the Horror itself!
I still would like to see a documentary on the film franchise and journey...similar to Never Sleep Again & Crystal Lake Memories...but super low budget as only a few would bother watching!

Loving the font choice; Impact and Times New Roman. Very 1996!

Re: The Complete History of Amityville Horror BOOK
I was all ready to say "it's probably just a preliminary cover" (a lot of publishers don't bother with the covers until the book is finished), but I went on Amazon to check out their book on the Howling, and it is the exact same style.
The publisher is an outfit called Miami Fox Publishing. The following is from their website:
My guess is that this is going to be a book based on Wikipedia and google and places like this forum. Just a guess. Again, I know nothing about this project...

Based on that, they seem to be one of those outfits that makes money on people who want to publish a book, but can't get a traditional publisher to accept their work. Doesn't necessarily mean the books are crap, but it doesn't give me hope, either... Too bad...Should we be unable to offer a traditional contract, but we feel the work has potential, an alternative offer may be made. This offer is known as a ‘partnership contract’ and is based on a contribution, to be paid by the author, to cover initial production and printing of the work.

WOW. This will be a fun read. I wonder how many of the low budget spin offs they will talk about, like Amityville Asylum. Lord what a stinker that was. Can't wait to read this!
